A selection of the most frequently asked questions.

Can I get a concession ticket?

Concessionary tickets are available on most events – the categories who qualify are children, unemployed, retired and over 60, full time students and customers who are registered disabled.

Do you accept Theatre Tokens?

Unfortunately, we do not accept Theatre Tokens, however we do offer in-house gift vouchers.  Please telephone the Box Office if you need assistance in redeeming your vouchers: 01229 820000.

Can we take drinks into the theatre?

Unfortunately, alcoholic and hot drinks are not permitted into events with theatre style seating.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes, we sell in-house gift vouchers to a value of your choice.  They are redeemable against all events at the forum and expire 12 months from the purchase date

Why do we pay a booking fee?

The Council introduced a £1 booking fee on every ticket purchased in April 2018.  This was to help reduce the subsidy the Council invest in the forum and sustain the venues future.  If you book on-line there will also be a £1.25 charge for each order.

Is there access for wheelchair users?

We have a number of spaces accessible for wheelchair users.  Please contact the box office on 01229 820000 to allocate a space.

Can I take a child’s push chair into the theatre?

We have a designated Push chair park for customers attending events with young children.  Owners leave their belongings at their own risk.

Can children attend events alone?

Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
