We understand that families in the Barrow and Cumbria region constantly seek high quality shows and evening entertainment for all the family and we aim to cater for all ages with our varied programme of events, shows and activities.

The Forum is proud to offer shows and entertainment suitable for all the family in our truly family friendly venue.

We host dance classes, workshops and theatre productions and welcome amateur groups from Barrow and the surrounding area to perform. We also attract leading professional performers who cater for children of all ages and can truly inspire young people with their dance, theatre, music and alternative entertainment.

If you are attending a performance with young children, we have adequate space for pushchairs and have excellent toilet facilities with baby change on the ground floor level. We also have lift access to the first floor. Where possible we try to include running times for performances and include a suggested age range, however, if you require further information about a show, please contact us. All we ask when bringing children to The Forum, is that you be respectful to other audience members so that they can enjoy the performance too.

Children are welcome in our Coffee Shop and Cafe during the day and families will find a bright, spacious venue with adequate storage for pushchairs, smaller tables and chairs for children, activity toys, bottle and food warming facilities, children’s menus and wholesome lunch boxes, all making The Forum an ideal choice for all the family.
